Multi Media University was established in 1996 as the first private university in Malaysia, taking up the challenge of educating the next generation of  the Malaysia’s leaders and knowledge workers. MMU developed the pioneer model for the successful establishment of private universities in Malaysia, paving the way for the growth of the private tertiary education sector.
It has three campuses; Melaka, Cyberjaya and Nusajaya.

Cyberjaya Campus:

Located on an 80 hectare piece of land, it is a mere 20 minute’s drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and hosts the following faculties:

Melaka Campus:

Nusajaya Campus:

It offers the Bachelor of Cinematic Arts (Hons) in collaboration with the internationally renowned University of Southern California rated as one of the best film schools in the world. The cinematic arts programme aims to develop Malaysia’s next generation of film makers.

In it’s 15 years of existence MMU has produced over 30,000 graduates with an outstanding pool of international students at 4,000 from 77 countries. MMU now hosts 13 Research Centers to date, focusing in the niche areas of nanotechnology, micro systems, bio metrics, virtual reality, microwave and telecommunications, engineering, photonics, advanced robotics and business.
