Kwantlen Polytechnic University, is a public degree-granting institution located in British Columbia Canada. The university has other campuses in Surrey, Richmond, Cloverdale, and Langley. The institution was established by the government of British Columbia in 1981 after separating from Douglas College.
In 1995, the institution became a degree-granting University College and in 2008 became a polytechnic university. KPU is Canada’s only polytechnic university. The motto of the university is “through tireless effort, knowledge, and understanding.”
