The School of Education and Human Development at the University of Southern Maine is accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council.
The mental health counseling and school counseling specialties are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education programs (CACREP).
The rehabilitation counseling program holds accreditation from the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE)
The school psychology program is accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
